Friday May 17th

Senior Week Kickoff + Carnival @ 4-7pm, Ruth Simmons Quad

Kick off Senior Week with your Class Coordinating Board! Come to the Ruth Simmons Quad to bid farewell to your undergraduate years and celebrate by indulging in cotton candy and popcorn, competing with your friends on inflatables or capturing your memories at our photo booth. You will have the chance to pick up your senior week merch orders, which you can tie-dye or have your friends sign. We will also have a limited amount of merch for purchase. Don’t forget to bring your Senior Series card to receive your special prize ;) Organizations like Brown Alumni Association, IT Tech Services, Yearbook, and Commencement Coordination will also be there to support you for graduation!

Grooves on the Green @ 8-11pm, Andrews Green

Join us on Andrews Green for a concert featuring vibrant sounds of Boston and Providence local bands alongside senior class acts like Em's Femmes and Julien Deculus and the Golden Hour. Get ready to groove to an eclectic mix of genres, from bluegrass to funk and everything in between. We will still be selling senior merch in case you haven’t picked up your merch orders!


 

Saturday May 18th

Field Day @ 1-4pm, Ruth Simmons Quad

Join us on Ruth J. Simmons Quad for an afternoon of games! Join up with a team of your friends and compete in 13 different games from limbo to cornhole! The teams who win each of the games will win a plus bear with Senior Week logo!

Senior Formal @ 9pm-1am, Pembroke Field

Dance under the stars at our only formal dance of Senior Week on Pembroke Green! This year’s theme by popular demand is Monte Carlo. Food and light refreshments are provided. The dress code is black-tie or semi-formal optional, but dress in what empowers you! A cash bar will be available (government-issued ID required for drinks).

 

Sunday May 19TH

Pop-up Beer Garden + RI Food Truck Fest @ 2-5pm, Main Green

On-Campus Food Festival! Students have the opportunity to eat yummy food or dessert at an assortment of food trucks, including but not limited to Hometown Poke Cafe, Little Fish, Incredabowl, Friskie Fries, and Atomic Blonde Ice Cream! Compensated food will be covered on a first-come, first-serve basis. Pizza and additional snacks will be available! Live music will be played by the Stowaways from 3-4! And a new partnership with the Brown Alumni Fund has made 500 free drink tickets available, so stop by for a free drink from Long Live Beerworks as well (drinks also available for purchase if tickets run out)!

Brown Alumni Association Presents: Sangria + Trivia Night @ 6-8pm, Maddock Alumni Center

Sip sangria and compete to see who knows Brown best at Sangria & Trivia, presented by Brown Alumni Association. Snacks and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be served in the Maddock Garden as you take on this trivia challenge covering all things Brown! All you need to play is your phone, your friends, your Brown ID, and your government ID (if you plan to drink). Winners get Campus Dance tickets, so don’t miss out!!

 

Monday May 20th

President's Reception @ 2-3:30pm, President’s House 55 Power St

Join us on President Paxson's lawn for light refreshments and snacks. Don't miss this opportunity to connect with your fellow students and President, and witness the presentation of the prestigious Hazeltine award which will be awarded to a professor who has demonstrated excellence in teaching. 

Andrew Evans Magic Show @ 7-8pm, Salomon DECI

Come witness the wondrous feats of legendary magician and Brown alumn Andrew Evans, who has made a name for himself wowing Brown seniors! You won’t want to miss these confounding illusions, sleight-of-hand schemes, and breathtaking mentalist tricks!

 

Tuesday May 21st

CCBRUNCH PICNIC @12-2pm, Quiet Green

Join us for free Zinneken waffles at the Quiet Green and enjoy our beautiful campus in the summer heat! Reminisce about your time at Brown with your friends and write a letter to your future self or bring a sentimental object to place in our time capsule!

Faculty Club Ice Cream Social @ 3:30pm-5pm, Faculty Club Garden

Socialize with fellow seniors over ice cream and bring back the memories of First Year Ice Cream Social, sponsored by and held at Brown Faculty Club!

Arcade + Club Night @ 9pm-1am, Colosseum Club

Come dance and game the night away at Arcade and Club Night! Barcade, with a maze of arcade games on one floor and bumping beats on the other, is a cornucopia of fun.

 

Wednesday May 22nd

Behind the Scenes @ 2:30-5pm, Various Campus Locations

Come follow us behind the scenes at some of the campus’ iconic locations and secret gems! Tours include: the Ratty, the Hay, John Carter Brown Library, and the 85 Waterman Greenhouse. Here are the tour schedules below:

85 Waterman Green House: Tour 1: 2:30-2:45 pm, Tour 2: 3:00-3:15 pm, Tour 3: 3:30-3:45 pm, Tour 4: 4:00-4:15 pm, Tour 5: 4:30-4:45 pm

Last Meal at the Ratty @ 6-8pm, the Ratty

Last Meal at the Ratty is a chance for seniors to experience the best of the best at the Ratty - including some of its most iconic dishes one last time before they leave campus

Pretzels & Trivia Night @8-10pm, Alumnae Hall

Sign up for a trivia night with comedian Jenny Gorelick ‘14. Come with a group of friends, sit back, relax, and destroy the other teams! We’ll have pretzels, pizza bites, and lemonade!

Regional Meet Ups @ 11am-1pm, ERC and Barus & Holly

Looking for friends, roommates, or more after graduation? Meet and mingle with the people who will be moving to the same region as you, and make sure you fill out our post-grad location form! Here are the regions and on-campus locations:


Senior Toast @ 3-5pm, Ruth Simmons Quad

Join us for a wonderful afternoon where your favorite professors raise their glasses to celebrate our seniors with short 1-2 minute toasts. Champagne and hors d'oeuvres will be provided. Mingle for the last time with your classmates, favorite professors and faculty members!
