2024 Class Board Events

2023-2024

Senior Scramble and Speed Mingling

Due to popular demand, Class Board 2024 held a virtual Senior Scramble that had a participation of over 300 students and submissions! The board also held an in-person speed mingling event for participants to meet more people!

Fall farm frenzy @ cucumber hill farms

Class Board 2024 worked with Cucumber Hill Farms to bring seniors to enjoy a day of fall festivities, including corn mazes, axe throwing, carnival food, and more! We are grateful to our amazing partners and hope to replicate this event for future classes!

CCBArley

Class Board 2024 worked in partnership with the Malted Barley in Providence to our class senior night. With a night of trivia, pretzels, and assorted beverages, we kicked off the year with our first senior classwide event at a local Providence favorite!

2022-2023

CCB St Patrick’s Day Comedy Show

Class Board 2024 worked in partnership with student comedians on campus to host a comedy show. Aspiring stand-up comedians on campus performed 15 minute sets for other students on campus. After the show, CCB held a reception for the comedians and audience to interact and socialize. Saint Patrick’s day themed food was catered by student chefs on campus.

CCB Global Tea Party

Class Board 2024 worked with student organizations including, Southeast Asian Student Association, German Club, Brown Taiwan Society, Slavic Studies, and more to bring high tea to the Class of 2024. From Madrid pastries to a live quartet, students were able to enjoy a relaxing Saturday afternoon drinking worldly teas.

Harvard V. Brown Tailgate

To promote school spirit at the Harvard Brown 2022 Football game, the 2024 Board held a booth at the tailgate behind the stadium. Featuring face painting balloons, spirit beads, yard games, and food. We had so much fun helping people get excited for the game!

Wall of Dreams

As a little introduction meet and greet, the 2024 Board gave Juniors opportunities to share their aspirations for the semester on a wall that was displayed on campus! It was such a great time speaking to everyone and enjoying some apple cider!

2021-2022

 DOWNTOWN ICE SKATING

The 2024 and 2025 classes collaborated for a fun ice skating event in downtown Providence! Complete with hot chocolate, cookies, brownies, and other snacks, we had tons of fun creating new memories on ice.

2020-2021

HALLOWEEN PUMPKIN CARVING AND PAINTING!

In collaboration with the Student Activities Office, CCB 2024 put on a Halloween Pumpkin Carving and Painting event on Saturday October 30th, 2021. The attendees had a lot of fun carving pumpkins, drinking cider, and eating festive cookies!

SOPHOMORIENTATION WITH CCB!

The Class Coordinating Board of 2024 planned a fun weekend from Sept 17-19th for the class of 2024 filled with classic orientation events such as Ice cream social, Talent Show, and Games on the Green. After getting an online orientation in their first semester during a pandemic, the sophomores came out to these events in great numbers!
